The roots of Umed Group trace back to 1964, when Late Shri Mulchand G. Malu and Shri Nemichand R. Malu began their journey in the textile trade at Madhavnagar, Sangli. What began with sourcing and supplying quality textile products evolved into a diversified manufacturing enterprise serving customers around the world.
Manufacturing operations expanded from weaving preparatory and conventional looms into advanced spinning and weaving infrastructure. Today, Umed combines decades of textile knowledge with modern production technologies to deliver consistent yarns and fabrics for apparel, industrial and specialised applications.
